Collaboration opportunity – January 12
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced FLL Team to work with the FIRST partner in Seoul, Korea. The purpose is to help with cross-collaboration and this exchange is being done in collaboration with the US Embassy in Seoul. Please let me know if your team is interested and meets at least the first 2 requirements.
1) Experienced, mature veteran FLL team, registered this season. Would greatly prefer a team whose members are 14 years old (or close) and/or at least 3 years with FLL. Also great prefer a team with experience in outreach (explaining FLL, FIRST and how the program works).
2) The entire team and at least 1 coach must be available between 4-6 PM pacific time on January 12th (9-11 AM on January 13th Seoul time) There may be a need for a practice session ahead of time or at least a preview of what questions would be asked and a possible local run through on how you would answer them
3) Access to a Polycom DVC video system Model HDX 7000 [correction as of 1/2: the model is 7000 not 700] [Note: I am trying to find a contact at Polycom or someone who may have access to this system – let me know if you can help or know someone that could help get access to this specific equipement – it is a requirement from the Embassy]
4) The exchange will be in English. Translation will be provided for the team but it would be great if any of the members were fluent in Korean
