TeamUp to connect and find team members
FIRST has a database that people can enter their email address to express interest to form a new FLL team. Over half of the current California listing are for people looking in NorCal!
If your team is able to add a member and/or you are willing to help connect interested people together, can you head over to the TeamUp page and connect?
How to navigate to the Team Up page: login to your FIRST account and on your Dashboard page, if you click into the “+ I want to” and then “Find Teams and Events”, and then “FIRST LEGO League, finally, there is an option that says:
Find Teams & Events
From here, you can search for all of the people in your city or in the entire state that are interested in forming a new FLL Team!
As of July 25, 2016, here are the top cities where people are looking to form a new team in NorCal: San Jose (16), Fremont (13), Sunnyvale (6), Santa Clara (5) and Palo Alto (4) and San Ramon (4). There are a bunch more cities with just 1 or 2 or 3 people interested. Check it out and let us know if you have success!
