2021 Season

This 2021-2022 Cargo Connect season, we will have 2 Seasons – a competitive, Advancement league in January/February AND a non-competitive, Recreational league in April/May.

There are 2 main differences:

  1. In the Advancement league, all team members must be listed on the FIRST Team Roster with electronic Consent&Release terms accepted by a team parent or guardian.
  2. In the Advancement league, a percentage of teams (usually between 20-30%) will advance to a regional championship

In the Advancement league, this year, we will have 2 different Event Formats – a fully Remote event AND a hybrid event. Details are here.

In the Recreational league, we will have fully Remote events. We may have either a hybrid or in-person traditional event depending on organizers and current local/regional regulations and guidance.
