Hello FLL Coaches!
Have you ever ended your FLL season, and had kids say “What’s next!?” We are emailing you about a program that we are running primarily for FLL teams after FLL season is over, called Drones For Good!Drones For Good is a competition for middle school students, held from February to April, where teams design and build a drone to compete in a series of challenges. The competition builds the same teamwork and engineering skills as FLL while allowing students the opportunity to experience a new, upcoming field of engineering. Also similar to FLL, there is a component where teams look at ways that drones can be used for good in their community. The competition day itself is structured similarly to FLL, allowing teams to both compete in challenges and share their knowledge with judges. However, students do not need to have participated in FLL to participate in Drones for Good.
We started this competition last year with a small handful of teams, and this year we are looking to expand—that’s why we’re reaching out to you!
We are high school FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4904: Bot-Provoking, located in San Mateo. We will host multiple coach training sessions and help sessions during the season, and the competition will also be at our school. Thus, this is aimed at teams in the Bay Area.

If you are interested in competing, or if you have any questions, please email us at botprovoking@gmail.com.
Thanks,
