Hello, our team is thinking of testing their robot on another table just to check things works properly.
We live in Sunnyvale, pl let me know if anybody is willing to share their table for 20 min.
If any other team wants to come and test our table is available on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon after 3.00 pm

Once an item is in base the kids can pick it up an move it around. Also, once an item is in base the kids can “store” it on the table next to base as long as the items remain in view of the referee. Some teams have made Lego boxes to help keep things organized near base. The scoring condition for most objects is at the end…[Read more]

I am a rokie coach and have a couple of questions about the missions.
1. The Mat display shows a few things in the base, such as a lady, a helmet, a water jug etc. Should they be in the base, and if so how does the robot occupy the base?,.

Typically things in “base” an things that are considered in control of the team. Rule 21 – Stored Objects and Rule 28 – Storage and Workspace allow the teams to move things in and out of base and onto tables or in boxes, as long as they don’t have some kinds of affect on the autonomous operations of the robot. Hi all, anyone have a team interested in either helping organize, or even just attending a scrimmage in the East Bay the first weekend in November?
My Rookie team of 9 yr old kids, would be interested in attendign a scrimmage, just so we can learn what actual happens at the games.
